Australian Sugar Cane Railway, Bundaberg
Bundaberg Steam Tramway Preservation Society Incorporated (BSTPS) trading as Australian Sugar Cane Railway (ASCR) is a working museum which is dedicated to operating, restoring and showcasing the history of sugar cane railways in the Bundaberg region and is located inside the Bundaberg Botanic Gardens.
All of our locomotives worked in the cane fields and mills around the Bundaberg region, with 2 of our locomotives built locally at the Bundaberg Foundry in 1952. Our track is 610 mm (2 foot) gauge.
